There's no way he ever pitched for the Twins!" He most certainly did, as Minnesota was his last MLB stop back in 2022 where he threw all of 1.2 innings, a number that Nick Gordon more than doubled. I looked him up on b-r.com but stopped reading when I saw his nickname listed as Big Fudge. Doctor Wu, glunn and Rosterman 1 2

I wonder if in those 1.2 innings pitched if Dick Bremer had time to drop that moniker on him. He gave up 5 baserunners and 3 ER so they were probably loooooong innings. "Ball four from Big Fudge to walk the bases loaded, and now there is some stirring in the pen."

LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 How about Robbie Grossman as the RH OF pickup? Can't play CF (or LF for that matter) but a 158 OPS+ last year against LH pitching, I would rather have about 6 guys other than him, but here's thought that he fits the Twins: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/

Still a lot of good players who haven't signed yet. I saw that Elvis Andrus just signed a minor league deal with Arizona, and was invited to camp, and C.J. Cron signed a similar deal with the Red Sox. No guarantees for many veterans nowadays.

MABB1959 Verified Member Posted March 4, 2024 Posted March 4, 2024 I always get sad about losing Berrios. I admit he probably did not want to sign with the Twins and we had to trade him for something. Hopefully we will see "something" soon.
