Can't really put this on Julien - if it does indeed turn into an L. The lack of hustle is infuriating but so too were MAT's failed bunt attempts and the odds are significantly higher that if MAT did his job, this game would've indeed been over.

No one is saying Julien not hustling is ok.  People are simply saying it's ridiculous to assume that everything plays out exactly identical to the way it has.

OK  same thing for MAT not getting the bunt down. Maybe Julien is pitched differently and doesn't hit that fly to left for a Sacrafice fly
