Did Ramirez appeal his suspension for his KO? He's playing today...

Got to play against Mauer when I was 14...was really cool seeing the ceremony I missed during the weather delay!

Has a suspension been announced?

Good question. Anderson isn't playing. Just assumed if you get In a fight you're done for a bit...but we all know about assuming!

I really like Morans stuff. More so than Pagan. But you're absolutely right. Last night he couldn't throw strikes to save his life. If he can't control the strike zone it doesn't matter how good his stuff is.

Last 4 appearances:

2 IP,  4 H, 5 BB, 6 ER

That did follow 4 good appearances, but the disastrous ones have been too frequent.

Ramirez DHed today. His sub at 3B (Brayan Rocchio) made two key errors in the 9th to let the ChiSox come back from 3-2 down to take a 5-3 lead.  Game just ended.

Moran was singularly responsible for ending the Twins hot streak coming out of the AS break.

5 straight Ws, leading Seattle 6-2 in the 7th, comes in and faces 3 hitters. Walk, walk, double and it's 6-3, 2 on none out. Pagan relieves and 2 hitters later it's 6 to 6. 8th inning meltdown and it's the start of a 5 game losing streak.

Just cannot be trusted.

If you look at his minor league stats, he has always pitched like this. Looks great at times but loses the strike zone and you can't trust him.

But I would try changing the arm angle before we just trade him away this winter. With his stuff, he can be great if he can throw strikes.

I liked the old Dome, two world championships there.  It had a special ambience and there was never a rain delay.

It had a special ambience ,,  it sure did, , as a what ?

Thank you Whities (I won’t write it twice)! They scored three in the ninth to beat Clasé and the Guardians. Cleveland’s 3B (Ramirez was DH) made consecutive errors with two outs and a 3-2 lead in the ninth.

Any word on when the game will start? It doesn’t look like it will rain hard.

It's raining hard right now in the western suburbs, and it looks on the radar like a bit of hard rain is approaching TF.

I said this yesterday and I'll say it again: I expect them to wait as long as they need to in order to avoid a postponement. It's easier and better to get the game in today than to reschedule, even if they don't start until 9 PM.

The number of beautiful MN days and nights spent indoors far outweighs the occasional rain out saved.

It was magical, high fly balls and popups were adventuresome for opponents.  And never a rain delay or postponement.

Pouring in the south metro right now. I thought the rain was dying out, but it looks like it's gonna be one of those days where they pop up anywhere.

Looking at the radar and this looks like it’s going to be an all-day thing. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do with the Twins needing to be in Detroit tomorrow evening.

None? I think only 1 of their early April games was rescheduled to an off day

Ah, right … their home opener was moved back a day and was done ahead of time

This seems inconsistent with what I see on radar.

Edit: Never mind. I misread this. Thought it said 2:30.

Oh good … will give me time to get some chores done while I watch a movie instead

I'm but just a simple messenger!

But I thought the same thing when I saw the tweet.  Which explains why I'm still sitting in my recliner instead of making my way downtown.

I envision this scenario: team goes to the dugout, and Rocco goes to Correa.

“CC, I’m not starting Joey today and need advice on a plan B to tick everybody off. I miss people calling for me to get fired.”

CC: points up at the heavens, like on those special occasions when he gets a hit, “Rain delay, Rocco.”

Rocco rubs his hands together, in eager anticipation, and in his best Andy Serkis-as-Gollum voice, says “Yes, Precious!”

Yeah, that’s what happened.

Instead of doing some chores with the game on?
