Assuming the rain allows it, I'm interested to see how Keuchel fares today.

Thanks @wsnydes. I’m reporting live 10 minutes west of Target Field and can confirm…. It’s cloudy. There’s a haze in the air today and I don’t know if it’s Canadian wildfire smoke, marijuana smoke, or just a normal haze we had before.

No sign of moisture just yet, but if you’re going to Target Field, bring the largest umbrella you have. The person behind you will thank you for shielding them at the game. We will be reporting back every hour on the hour

Both can be true.

Gallo benched against a RHer.

Interesting.

So not bound and gagged.

Interesting.

Here's to hoping Keuchel isn't the second coming of Steve Carlton in a Twins uniform.

Record of 1-7, refuses to change his style of pitching and still acted like he was cock of the walk in the locker room.

First thing I thought of...

Agree...but unfortunately not as interesting as seeing him get DFA'd.

The rain kind of seems like it's fizzling out, so the game should be ok. Hopefully, Kuechel doesn't fizzle out like the rain did. Gallen's a good pitcher, and it would be great to beat him today. GO TWINS!

Good afternoon fellow TD army. Let's hope Keuchel can be as tough on the Snakes as most leftys have been on the Twins. That would be a great lift after the team transforming moves made at the trade deadline. Sweep! You can dooooo itttttt

sending Moran down clearly the right move. He was awful last night. You come in leading 12-1 and everyone in the universe just wants to go home asap. Your job is basically to essentially lob the ball over the plate and let them hit it. They aren't going to come back from 11 down.

Instead we were 'treated' to unnecessary minutes and minutes of Moran missing the strike zone by a mile. Finally even the ump had mercy and called a couple of pitches that weren't strikes, normally. How he managed to get out of the inning without giving up a run was probably more the D-Backs just wanting it over too. It was a pathetic performance given the circumstances.

Yes, yes yes...go down and learn the strike zone. And don't come back until you do. sheesh.

Was due, now have Winder and Headrick in case of Kuechel.  All my bullpen management fears are alleviated.

Moran was singularly responsible for ending the Twins hot streak coming out of the AS break.

5 straight Ws, leading Seattle 6-2 in the 7th, comes in and faces 3 hitters. Walk, walk, double and it's 6-3, 2 on none out. Pagan relieves and 2 hitters later it's 6 to 6. 8th inning meltdown and it's the start of a 5 game losing streak.

Just cannot be trusted.

Any word on when the game will start? It doesn’t look like it will rain hard.

I really like Morans stuff. More so than Pagan. But you're absolutely right. Last night he couldn't throw strikes to save his life. If he can't control the strike zone it doesn't matter how good his stuff is. And wasn't the Seattle appearance just after his recall? I think it might be inside his head. Like Lopez.

Hoping for a fun one today. Keuchel can serve up the grounders with the best of them. Might get some nice plays. I thought Julien might DH, but I'm not going to argue against more Jeffers.

Recall? I don't think Moran has been in AAA this year until now.

FTR, it's not just last night's lack of command that bothers me. I've been on the "can't trust him" bandwagon since last year.

I might be mistaken. I thought he had a short stint in St. Paul
