Pagan is useless. He was useless last year and he is useless again this year. Why the Twins still see value in this guy is way beyond me. A simply miserable performance.

Part of me was hoping that you'd just change the answer to match mine.  After all, I'm drinking the Scotch I poured for the group.

Sometimes the answers you seek are right in front of you.

I think we do have to hold you accountable this afternoon.

It's only right.

Wait, I take back all the criticism of Pagan.  I mean, he just pitched a clean 1-2-3 against the top of the lineup.

The manager's job is to put guys in position to succeed correct?

Pagan never succeeds when he is put in a situation correct?

Then why do you keep putting him in situations like that?

Stewart threw 1 pitch yesterday.

Yep , Stewart only threw 1 pitch yesterday  ...

Used 3 out the last 4 days. Maybe not available?

Sorry, that was just predictable.  I called it (like many others) 2 min before the lead was blown.  Any AAA pitcher can do this for less.

This is not correct.  He does succeed sometimes.

They had the opportunity to score 10+ runs this game.

3 GIDPs. How many LOB?

7 so far.

Trevor Larnach will drive in the winning run.

Gotta protect better than that with 2 strikes.

We had that game won, and gave it away. Yeah, Pagan did his usual stuff, but there were a lot of opportunities left on the bases. No killer instinct with this team, and not much ability to do anything in the clutch.

honest--as soon as I heard Pagan was coming in I immediately switched this game from W to L.  His track record as a Twin is just horrifying overall. Bad loss. Real bad loss.

I still found this game more watchable -- the Twins bats were inert for so many games.  Yes, there were some fielding mistakes and Pagan blew the lead, but other games felt decided in the early innings when the Twins were 1 run behind.  Those are interminable.
