nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 I’m not sure why everyone hates Sanchez so much. The 2021 Giants and 2019 Astros signed him and each had 107 wins. What you all want 108 wins?!?

Can't use Buxton if this is his official "rest" day. And Kirilloff is down to one wrist. In other words, no help in the late innings. But we like it that way. More sporting.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 I was going to post a dad joke, but frankly, I couldn't find one I really liked. Anyone else?

He can't swing well. Really confused.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Bringing up Sanchez is just like making a big trade for a starter.

IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Even though it's still early, I'm not liking where this one appears to be heading.

Really confused. Yeah. I’m not buying it. Same wrist he was destroying AAA with…and he’s still active. Needs to stop hitting pitcher’s pitches, show some patience, willingness to take a walk. But, that’s just me.

Anyone else? True story; My dad in his early 70's was still throwing football passes to my youngest brother, who was maybe ten at the time. Anyway, the old man suffered a heart attack, small one, and a month later he was in the doctor's office getting a review of his situation. The doc told my dad he needed to take it easy for awhile. My dad asked the doc if that meant he could still play football. The doc stared at him, wrote something down on his charts and later after the doc left the room my old man spun the doc's clipboard around so he could read the evaluation. In underlined ink the doc had written one word, "Senile".
KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 I know Detroit is awful, but what are they doing with Baddoo in the lineup? It's brutal to watch as an opposing fan...

TopGunn#22 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 So THIS is the big move we've all been waiting for...Aaron Sanchez. By the way, I don't see the Yankees package for Montas as anything THAT great.

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Kirilloff in? What is going on here?

srjr19 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 I know Skubal is Detroit's #1 but he's 7-8 with a 3.6. Why is it the Twins routinely do nothing against every middling to below average starter they face?

If he’s a middling pitcher, he’s the best one in the league.
srjr19 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 And when exactly did Gary Sanchez become Miguel Sano?
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 Redux... Threaten but do not score. How many more times will we hear this tonight?? I suspect this one won't be the last one.
