Among the things I hate about the Twins is the constant days off.

No reason for Correa not in the lineup today, and if you're gonna rest him, no reason he couldn't have taken the last 2 ABs for Gordon.

Winning these games matters.

I think the plan was to limit Duran to one inning to close out the game. Megill came very close to getting strike three on both Zavala and Vaughn, but didn’t do it.

OTOH, if Kepler doesn’t catch the liner, the game could be over.

Baldelli didn't think Duran could go 2 innings in the 8th, I guess, when they had the lead. Managed himself right out of a 2 inning save for the stud of the staff.

Takes me back to that 1st game of the DH against Cleveland when Baldelli fatefully saved Duran for the second game, lost the first becasue of it, and wasn't even needed or used in the second.
