I'm Ok with Megill in the 8th, but after facing 3 batters Duran should have been brought in for a 4 out save.

I would be very interested to find out how many times since the advent of the extra inning ghost runner 1 run has been enough to win.  Every one seems to assume 1 is not enough, and I wonder how true that is.

 

On a related note, the White Sox have 6-8 due up in the 10th--feels like now would be a good time to play for 1, especially if you're going to bring Duran back out.

The Twins are playing pretty decent baseball but I cannot understand the total refusal to consider a sacrifice bunt or pinch hitter in that last half inning.
