Really does feel like this wasn’t the Twins year. That Opening Day loss set the tone, and there have been problems ever since it. Injuries, hitters slumping, pretty much every bullpen arm regressing tenfold, a good defense on paper struggled with basic plays.

The thing is with these extra innings, probability says that one run should score each half inning. The problem with the Twins is that the offense has not done their part in these extra innings. It doesn’t help that the runner on 2nd has scored virtually every time, but when the offense can’t score in a situation where they are EXPECTED to, that’s a problem.

So much for Garver turning the corner with his bat.  Garv Sauce goes down looking.  Rortveldt with another stellar batting day.  Gordon getting pinch hit for with Polanco, because why?  Rocco head first into the analytics vs gut feeling.  you put the kid in the lineup, let the kid play the game.  I don't want to hear hard hit ball by Polanco.  Out is still an out
