bighat Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Terrible play there by Kiriloff. You can't get to that ball?!?!?!
twinbythebay Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 I don't doubt that he has Covid-19, I'm more curious about the idea that the team has been vaccinated but he declined. That's the source I'm looking for. Thanks again. He announced it on his Twitter account in March, I believe.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Wouldn’t hurt to bring Kirilloff in a couple steps. Yikes.
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 welp, the wheels are coming off.
wavedog Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Oh Boy - Bad News Bears. Seems like Kirilloff should have caught that pop-up and how about our pitchers just take the easy out at first on bunts going forward. Going for the lead runner hasn't seemed to work out.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Yeah, that’s why Kirilloff had a 30 speed prospect rating... he’s pretty slow. Which is why some had him profiled as a 1B.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 If maeda is broken, boy this is gonna be a loooong year
bighat Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Wow, Kenta is just getting crushed here. Twins will be lucky to get out of this inning down 4-0. In a 7-inning game (another stupid rule) going down this big early is a death sentence. This game is as good as over right now.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Wouldn’t hurt to bring Kirilloff in a couple steps. Yikes. You know it's bad when you can tell on the radio...
bighat Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 All I'm asking is "Have the Twins players been vaccinated?" It's not heavy, it's in response. I just don't know, and I like to know stuff.Yes, they were given the vaccine on Friday it was widely reported on both broadcasts and Twitter.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Kenta making it easier for the Twins to decide what they need at the trade deadline
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Yes, they were given the vaccine on Friday it was widely reported on both broadcasts and Twitter.Thank you.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 If maeda is broken, boy this is gonna be a loooong yearI don't think he's broken. But this is a bad outing. Nothing really been hit hard, just some bad seeing-eye singles (and a pop-up single) and that error. Overall just everything going wrong, doesn't mean he's broken for the year.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Just another reminder that ST stats mean nothing. Maeda was untouchable, now he’s looked average in his first three starts.
Dave The Dastardly Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Yes, from home. Do you deliver to Chicago?I would, but I just downed mine and yours. Care for another?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 I would, but I just downed mine and yours. Care for another? Is this one of those scenarios that goes something like "one for you, one for me. Two for you. One, two for me. Three for you..."?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 We still got 18 outs to make up 3 runs, right?
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 We still got 18 outs to make up 3 runs, right?Indeed they do!
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Kirloffs defense is....not great Rooker's bellyflop catch is looking pretty good at this point.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 And one of our batters' names is Kirilloff.
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 My God! Astudillo passed on two pitches in a row!Pretty cold today
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Potential dumb question alert: During these 7-inning doubleheaders, does the starting pitcher still need to go at least 5 innings to qualify for a win? Or are the requirements adjusted? He definitely gets the loss if they don’t come back
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Even just seeing that 1 AB I'd rather have Kirilloff on the roster over Cave
PopRiveter Verified Member Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 We still got 18 outs to make up 3 runs, right?Let's do that... ...errrr still got15 outs
