Battle ur tail off Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 See this is the difference. They get runners on, they score. You have to find a way in the playoffs
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Well there's the game.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 We're gonna lose 1-0, aren't we?
umterp23 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 enough with the stupid ass shift on defense. My god. Throw the analytics away.
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 This is why Berrios will never be better than a #3 guy. Can't start nibbling and totally lose the zone. Same crap that Duffey pulled yesterday. Get 2 outs and then break down.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Two outs and nobody on to this.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I HATE these in-game interviews. I’m trying to watch a ****ing baseball game here. Mic up the players. Cool. They’re part of the game. The announcers are not.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Sigh... little dribbler kills us.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Has nothing to do with shifting. Has to do with Berrios walking 2 consecutive hitters with 2 outs. And a hitter finding a way to put the ball in play rather than K'ing.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Our pitchers walk a batter..... likely they score. Our batters walk.... not a chance. Stranded on the bases.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 again...so darned predictable....Jose cruising along and suddenly he loses the strike zone...walks two and gives up a run scoring single. This is unfortunately how he has pitched this year. But--where the Twins can't do squat with those situations, the Astros come thru. And thats one reason why the Twins may not play baseball after today.
Twodogs Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 The shifts have been working so well.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Has nothing to do with shifting. Has to do with Berrios walking 2 consecutive hitters with 2 outs.I mean, it kinda does. That’s a weak Gb to short for like 120 years
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Berrios completely losses the strike zone with 2 outs....simply cannot happen
Battle ur tail off Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Sigh... little dribbler kills us. 6-3
HokieRif Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Rosie already looks like we've lost...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Someone should be warming. No idea who though
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 We're really missing another player like Arraez who will grind through an at-bat and get on base. Brantley fits that bill and fills a void this offseason.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 30 pitches this inning
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Has nothing something to do with shifting. Also has to do with Berrios walking 2 consecutive hitters with 2 outs. And a hitter finding a way to put the ball in play rather than K'ing. FTFY
woolywoolhouse Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Has a 1-0 deficit with 4 1/2 innings left to play ever felt more insurmountable than this?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I mean, it kinda does. That’s a weak Gb to short for like 120 yearsActually, if they completely shift, it's a weak GB to the 3rd baseman.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Has a 1-0 deficit with 4 1/2 innings left to play ever felt more insurmountable than this?Even worse, there are 5.5 left to play, and it still feels like we've lost
Twodogs Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I mean, it kinda does. That’s a weak Gb to short for like 120 yearsI agree, plus most of the balls hit into the shifts would have been caught by the regular player anyway.
Battle ur tail off Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 OK, should be fine. Rocco, don't you dare pull him. He was cruising until the last little bit here. You don't have the horses out there to go the rest of the way.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Nice job to stop the bleeding I guess
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Let’s see if there’s a response
TouchEmAllGuy Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Still nothing hit too hard. Just control your pitches Jose!!
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Twins have to answer that run immediately. Someone in that dugout has to light the fire. The bats are dead.
