Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Ditto. Duffey's time is already invested, get maximum payoff. I'm usually Mr. Hand them the ball guy during the regular season. At playoff time... It's... I want him with the ball and not him.
Blake Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Author Posted October 5, 2019 Taking full advantage of Yankee Stadium. If the Twins played all their home games in this stadium, they’d set the all-time record for homers.Uh, they already did this year.
Bomba2026 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Hey Costas Kirby is rolling in his grave at your disrespect!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I'm almost always listening to music. Me to... My psychiatrist hasn't found out why yet.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 We would have hit 400 if this were our home field. That ball doesn't even reach the warning track at Target, lol.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Me to... My psychiatrist hasn't found out why yet.The voices in my head are just musically inclined.
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Uh, they already did this year. What!?! They did?!?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I find it funny how the Twins have taken advantage of the short RF wall and the Yankees haven't so far. If only the Yankees could move the LF foul pole a few feet to the left... Let's check back tomorrow...……...wouldn't put it past them.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 That ball doesn't even reach the warning track at Target, lol.Basically, every ball off the wall in right is a home run in NY.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 CRON D.P. SEEN ALL I WANT OF THAT, anti jinx
AlwaysinModeration Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Ottavino: checkKahnle: check They probably don’t have anyone left in their bullpen now.
Blake Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Author Posted October 5, 2019 The announcers are going on and on about Yankee injuries, never mind one of the best in the game, Buxton, has been on the shelf for half the year. Not to mention the other injuries that have plagued the Twins. Along with Pineada getting suspended for PED's. Good grief, just put on the Yankee equipment and let everyone know where you guys stand.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 The voices in my head are just musically inclined. I know... When they tell you to paint the house brown and orange with purple polka dots while hitting High C. It's hard to keep yourself away from Sherwin-Williams.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I know the announcers are just playing to the NYC major market viewers, but man is this hard to listen to. Very hard. It’s pretty embarrassing, really.
Crackedfungo Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 It was tough. But an above average 3B makes that play. Maybe even an average 3B. We don't have one. You clearly never played 3rd (or baseball). That is a 1 in 4 ball. Particularly when you are shading inside and it’s smoked with a higher hop.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Gotta love how national announcers have no idea who the Twins are. They called him "Cano," and didn't understand how a fly ball from this 275 pound behemoth just seemed to keep going and going...

howeda7 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 You stay with Duffey. You gotta hang zeroes and see if the Twins can bang one out. He's way over 20 pitches already though.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Costas: “If the Washington Generals can push this series to four games, will the Yankees use an opener in game four?”
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 He's way over 20 pitches already though.Something to consider, but at this time of the year, go with whether he's hitting his spots. Take him out mid-inning if he stops.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 He can rest in the off season. There's a lot of series left.
