D. Hocking Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Idiot Costas just said What's more important, the Yankees have just taken the lead! Another reason to hate the Yankees....
S. Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Haven't been a fan of how they've called this game. Berrios is missing a lot of spots but the sequencing has not been very good. It has been poorly played and poorly called. However, we're still in the 3rd inning, so lot of baseball to go. Like 4 more hours at this pace.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Got him! Let’s get them back, boys!!
twinssouth Provisional Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Hate to say it but Arraez needs to come out. He’s not 100%. Schoop would have made both those plays of his especially the double play ball
Krabby5 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 But most importantly Bob Costas loves the yankees...Most people probably don’t even know where MN is on a map
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Good finish, should have got out of it up 2-1.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Welp, didn't expect to win this game 2-1...
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 If you leave now you might make it over the bridge before the game is over.Ha. Funny because almost true....
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Cron should have caught that. But the decision to start Arreaz has probably cost us at least 2 runs.He cost us all three
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Of course its errors that lead to important runs being scored. This is perhaps the worse fielding Twins team I've seen in my lifetime.Well you must only be about 2 years old then.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 It has been poorly played and poorly called. However, we're still in the 3rd inning, so lot of baseball to go. Like 4 more hours at this pace. No worries, I have enough booze
twinssouth Provisional Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Boy am I tired of Costas and it’s only 3rd inning
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Who didn't think it would be a football score in the end? I think it'll come down to a last-second field goal. Twins win 13-12.
drock2190 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 He cost us all three Don't forget his DP ball.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 It has been poorly played and poorly called. However, we're still in the 3rd inning, so lot of baseball to go. Like 4 more hours at this pace.Dodger game starts in a hour, watch us go longer than that game
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 He cost us all three It was E3 and there is little doubt it was. Routine scoop.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 He cost us all threeMost likely.
tvagle Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I know it's the playoffs and all that but there are still 5 6 innings of baseball left...opportunities abound for those you may have made a miscue or two to more than make up for things Rosario will hit a go ahead bomb in the top of the 9th after King Luis slaps a double to left in the 8th to tie things up
Bomba2026 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I'll drink to an Old Duff beer!
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 It was there on the fly...I'd hope a professional could catch a 90 foot throwGame of inches. Schoop would have provided a slightly better throw, I'm convinced.
wavedog Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 To be fair we have seen this defense all season - let’s get the bats going!!
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 No worries, I have enough boozeMe too, but I'm nearly out of Scotch.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Don't forget his DP ball.Yeah, his WPA and half of Berrios WPA is all on him, which in turn is all on Rocco.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Swinging at Paxton's pitches now. Don't panic fellas,it's one run.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 missing that DP sucks.. cost us 2 runs...
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Yeah, his WPA and half of Berrios WPA is all on him, which in turn is all on Rocco. I think you've made your point, no?
