Don Walcott Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I think Berrios looks good tonight. Against a tough team, bad ump, and with poor defense behind him. He still can go 5.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Max probably should not be playing either. Max is just fine,
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I just opened a bottle. You're welcome to come over. That's gonna have to be one hell of an Uber ride...How good a bottle? Might be worth it.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 3-2 in the 4th...…..are you serious? You aren't......right? Until they prove otherwise against New York damn right I'm worried.
wavedog Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Yes that was a strike they finally called - sit down and shut up
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 12 pitch inning... and much cleaner... wish he'd had a couple more of those earlier. To be fair... Not getting strikes called makes it tough.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Yeah, the defense has been substandard for a good chunk of the season. Shouldn't be too surprising at this point.Agree, but playing a healthy player at second base probably makes this a good defensive game so far. Sano has made some nice plays. Gonzalez has played those E5 caroms perfectly.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Finally got that low strike! Wonder what made him change his mind? It's the same pitch he's called a ball like 8 times. Maybe he didn't blink this time.
bighat Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Its just 3-2. Don't panic yet folks.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I think Berrios looks good tonight. Against a tough team, bad ump, and with poor defense behind him. He still can go 5.1 bad pitch to encarcion, after he got lucky on a foul ball h.r. other wise ok at best to me
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Game of inches. Schoop would have provided a slightly better throw, I'm convinced.Agreed
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 How good a bottle? Might be worth it.You make a good point. I'm also partial to single malt highlands. That may also influence the decision.
GCTF Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Homer Simpson taught me not to say anything unless I'm completely sure everyone around me agrees. So... **** the Yankees.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 All in all, if Cron picks that ball, it's 2-1 Twins and Berrios is in a good spot.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 if rocco pinch hits for arraez ??????????
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Dear Bob, I'd love to hear more about everything Yankees. I think underwear style and colour is the only thing you've missed. They’re wearing fishnets.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 They have to stop swinging at that ****. Come on already.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Ugh... Quit pressing boys. Non competitive pitch.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Finger me with the Yankees bullpen Bob! Yaaassss!
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I hope something unfortunate happens to Bob Costas very soon. I am listening to Gladden right now, somehow I suspect he would feel the same way. I don't see them going on a bike trip together.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Agree, but playing a healthy player at second base probably makes this a good defensive game so far. Sano has made some nice plays. Gonzalez has played those E5 caroms perfectly.Don't really disagree, but my point is that this isn't exactly a defensive stalwart even with fully healthy players.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Make him throw strikes Luis
