I think the Twins bats woke up because the realized you can't sit in the clubhouse for two hours waiting for the Indians game to end.

Noooooo!!!! Leave the reverse-jinx in place until game's end!

Rosario has his moments when he can make you bang the head, but he has so many highlights and seems so much a part of the core culture of this team that it would be a REAL mistake to trade him.  Pitching or not, we need to consider other options.  Rosario, Polanco, Sano, Kepler, Buxton, and Berrios are the CORE of this team (and pretty cheap for a few more years).  When you add Garver, Arraez, and the veteran Cruz and Gonzalez, you have a wonderful balance to this team that you must lock up.  I love Lewis, AK, Larnach, and others, but you just cannot assume they can replace these CORE players.  Lock them up for 3 more years, and add a FA pitcher, sign your own, and push some of the young pitchers to bigger roles or the phenoms get pushed up.

Are they? I didn't know that.

I also didn't notice your location on your profile. I wasn't entirely sure anyone lived past Westchester County anymore.

Yeah man. Skaneateles Lake has a problem with them as they are eating the lake trout with no natural predators. The town is actually thinking of getting rid of the limits and quantity you can keep to eradicate them from the lake. Otisco Lake has a good sized population but is kept in check by the Tiger Muskies. Those are the two finger lakes that I fish, but again mostly for bass. Fishing is pretty solid around here in Syracuse. I've talked to some guys that walleye fish and they troll at dusk/night, but wouldn't really relinquish any secrets or bait that they use. Just wondering what Minnesotan's use to catch the tasty white fish of the lakes.

I'm jumping on a plane right now and flying direct to Chicago to cheer the Sox on. It's worth the $300 ticket. Will post from the stadium. It's only a 45 minute flight from MSP.  Stand by...might make the 8th inning.

Make sure you fly into Midway. You’ll never make it flying into O’Hare

Running to another gate now. Good call! The ticket is cheaper too. $285!

Leach with jig heads slow crawled up drop offs as primary, small shad raps as back ups or twisters slow rolled.  Lindy rigs and slip bobber's with leaches when it's slow and they bites aren't lively.  I say that from years of walleye fishing with 'old wise men', while I now fish mostly for muskies.

Bremer, on 27 year old Ian Miller: "first taste of the big leagues." There's some sunny optimism, for ya.

You would have rather he said “Last taste of the big leagues”?

Jerk.

Are you guys trolling?

There's a charter on the St. Lawrence river that has a motto: Muskies; everything else is just bait.

I was just messing with ya. I'm sure upstate is way better than NYC in a lot of ways.

The trick is years of frustration and patience chased with a lot of beer. Then more beer, bait and boats.

We can discuss trolling and jigging later. Get more beer.

I think we're gonna clinch it tonight!

True - it looks like all you need is a cooler of Hamm's (and a cool hat).

Oh, and unfortunately, I haven't fished for walleye in a decade, so someone else will have to fill you in. They were among my favorite fish to catch, though not quite as fun as Northerns.

Please, we don’t allow trolling here.
