tarheeltwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 I have seen the future, First pitch in the majors...100 mph strike !
Blake Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Watching Graterol throw his first pitch, I was surprised it touched 100 mph. One of those guys who throws hard without looking like he throws hard. And putting two strikes on the low outside corner is unfair, well, not if you're a Twins fan.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Wow, nice double play by Arraez. Footwork looked a little awkward, but good mustard on the throw. Chicken Dinnah! And another hard-throwing reliever in the pen!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Way to go Twins!!!!!
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Thanks Tampa Bay!!!!!
Blake Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 I hope to see several appearances by Mr. Graterol. Be nice if he turns out to be the real deal. Though, won't really know until we see Graterol in a couple of high leverage situations. If what we just saw from Graterol is who he is, just how stacked is the Twins bullpen now?
IndyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 5.5 games up feels a lot better. Let's increase that tomorrow!
mickeymental Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 no home runs? season is over.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 An example of literally overlooking a lesser opponent!
wabene Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Buxton and Graterol up the middle!Exactly my thoughts!
wabene Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Buxton and Graterol up the middle!Exactly my thoughts!I wonder how long it would take before Baldelli would trust a rookie in high leverage spots?Dude I just can't believe the youngster is up. This is foreign territory for this Twins fan.
wabene Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 I have to say I enjoyed the vintage and quaint little offensive outburst early in this game.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Based on what I've read, and one inning today, I will be sorely disappointed if Brusdar Graterol does not win the Cy Young Award next year.

First off, he's going to need to build up some innings if he's going to stick as a starter in 2020.

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 First-ballot HoF in 2020, I think you mean.Don't be absurd. He has to be retired for 5 years to be eligible for the HoF. But I do expect a first ballot election.
