Duffey... You guys practice that a lot.

 

Remember getting in line at the mound with all the other pitchers, faking a throw to the plate, running in an arc to first base... catching the ball and finding the bag. And then doing it again. 

 

I use to make fun of the pitchers doing that drill.

Question about Thorpe: if you're Baldelli, do you try to keep him as a three inning reliever or do you aggressively try to turn him into a 1-2 inning guy used more frequently? He has always been a starter so making that kind of adjustment quickly is a big ask but given the state of the bullpen, I think I try to do it.
