He definitely seems as hittable as May was, just not as wild.

oh I don’t know... maybe, maybe not. The 83 pots of coffee didn’t help. :)

 

He showed a good hard slider, and a fastball that seems to tail back on righties. But we can go 15 rounds on another thread sometime. :)

So instead of stopping off at my usual little beer joint on the way home from work today, I thought I'd stop by the public pool and take a swim. It's June in Tucson...100 plus every day, and humidities in the single digits.

 

So anyway, I got there, and I really had to ... pee. Can I say that here? I think so. I had to pee, so I went to the deep end, and just sort of casually let it go. 

 

Well, the stupid life guard blew his whistle at me. Loud! So loud, it scared me so bad I nearly fell in.

Probably. Smeltzer due to start on Friday in Toledo.
