I don’t see a game thread for tonight, but whoever is doing the thread, I feel like this photo of Alex Cora during last night’s game needs to be included:

Love the hitting, not sure how I feel about the shaking of the head at balls. It feels a little too Yasiel for my liking.

I really think Arraez should never be sent down again. All he does is to get on base.

 

The only question is if they would have enough ABs for his progression to continue when everyone's healthy.

Am I crazy for thinking Arraez has the potential to one day win a batting title! Dude is in his first month in the big leagues and I'm not sure I've seen a bad at-bat yet. He walks up to the plate, sees where the defenders are, and then hits it where they aint. Absolute joy to watch.

I think Cave is example A of why you can't always trust that guys who succeed in AAA will succeed in with big league clubs

Cave hit major league pitching well last year to the tune of (near) .800 OPS while playing in CF.  No need to dish on a guy who has had few opportunities to get established this year.
