I blame myself. I wasn't bitching enough tonight.

I bitched about my usual amount, but didn't seethe.

Maybe that was it.

Greinke is hitting .303, .343, .606 and only 25% K Rate, if the Twins trade for him, he could the Twins Ohtani.

5 hits, 4 BBs, and 3 runs in 4 IP is "quite well?"

Sorry, but no.

He flashed some good stuff the first inning, but c'mon.

He got that era down to a more respectable 6.75, what do ya want?

Seems like tuning out would be a reasonable option after the game?

Not when the controller is all the way over there

Once again the MLB.com Twins game is blacked out in Maine and I have to listen to the Red Sox announcers. Tonight I have two big complaints. First, why can't they learn how to pronounce the opposing players names? Monday it was Berrios (berry - ohz). Tonight it's Arraez pronounced three ways during the game: properly a few times but most often as either "arise" or rhyming with "hairy ass." These announcers are well paid. They should put in some effort to learn opponents' names. And also, after each of Astrudillo's hits, they bitched about his "bat flip" (which looked to me more like he carried it part of the way to first base and then tossed it towards the dugout). These guys are awful.

He seems to be better at hitting than Sano. Just less power. Trade for him to pinch hit for Sano. Or perhaps trade Sano for him.

Feel sorry for the kid, but he actually did quite well considering

Considering only means something if people want to give some consideration, which they usually don't.

I agree under the circumstances he showed some good things.

Normally, asking for just one passable inning in his MLB debut- from a lowly 19th round draft pick- against a top-flite offensive team like the Red Sox, would have been the best possible scenario. Let's say Baldelli REALLY pushed the envelope after Poppen somehow survived two scoreless innings- with two highly atypical double plays.

Baldelli's Mom is probably glad he didn't choose to go to flight school.

I liked his last inning, and his fastball was still at 93 to 95 with some movement. His stat line was not good, but he was put in a tough spot in his first big league game. At least we agree that he can flash good stuff.

Did well considering he was tweaking out most of the time he was out there

It was a long game Tuesday night. We were all bitched out.

Boy.... aint that the truth.

The poor guy was talking to more imaginary friends on the mound out there than Ed Norton did in "Fight Club".

I consider the 6-3 groundout a break out.

This confirms the (recently held) theory that SO's are better than hitting the ball!
