The crazy thing is that you have lots of teams out there playing their 7th, 8th games today.

 

Twins are playing their 4th. You've got to think all this time off can't be helping things, especially offensively.

It isn’t easy to not score with the bases loaded, no one out and your #4 hitter coming up.

 

I was away from the radio - where there at least some really good hit balls and the runs and hits were robbed by some excellent defense by KC?

It might be time to give Rosario and Gonzalez a day off. Those two have been killing the Twins offense so far this season.

We’ve got literally one of the best players in MLB history at putting the ball in play.... and we don’t use him when we need to put a ball in play. Sweet Jesus this is going to get frustrating if they keep coddling to the egos of players who might get hurt because they got pinch hit for.

Dude you're not going to PH for anyone in the meat of the lineup. I can see if Castro was up, but it's pretty hard to be angry at Baldelli for letting Rosario, Cron, and Gonzalez bat with the bags packed.

Not that they were necessarily going to be a play-off team regardless but I thought the PR games messing a bit with their schedule last year threw them off a bit.

Middle of the order or not, he's struggling mightily. Astudillo could easily bat fourth for us right now. Not to mention Gonzalez had struck out twice already. It just so happens Astudillo and Adrianza can play his position as well. Pretty rational option in my opinion.

It might be time to give Rosario and Gonzalez a day off. Those two have been killing the Twins offense so far this season.

You don’t give starters “days off” when they’re playing every other day because the early April schedule in modern MLB is stupid.
