Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Astudillo for Castro would make a lot of sense.unfortunately it didn’t work out this time
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 This pitcher Diekman has nearly a balk-move when he comes to the plate with the runner on first.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Cron hit a solid line drive but it had the bad luck of going almost directly at the third baseman. Yup. Bad Twins offenses used to be able to load 'em up with no outs and then go scoreless the old-fashioned way, with strikeouts, force outs at home, and fly outs too shallow to tag on. This offense is a pale imitation. Pale, I say!
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 As good as they looked Sunday, they look pretty ordinary tonight, and are lucky to have what runs they do. Gnight all.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I was really hoping Berrios would get his 2nd win in only the Twins 4th game so I could make a really lame “what year is this, 1919?” joke.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Buxton with 3 strikeouts. Every fan of this team has to be feeling pretty worried. Ever notice how when he's waiting on a fastball and gets a curve early in an at-bat, it's pretty much curtains for him? It's like he can't come back from getting fooled on one pitch or something.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Rogers on pace for around 120 appearances this season (takes the mound for 3rd time in 4 games).
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Where was Kepler on that ball?
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 And it's crap like that which kills you when you can't get just one GD runner in with the bases loaded and nobody out.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Bux tried to do too much there and gave up the HR. Still would've been a guy on 3rd with 1 out but yeah that's on Byron.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Buxton rips a hole in the padding... Giving up an inside the parker.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Slick double play though following a plunked batter.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 What was Buxton thinking there? He jumps up at the wall, not even looking at the ball? Terrible.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 This was a game given awayAin't over yet!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Ain't over yet!True. But the bases loaded no outs, not scoring thing is the momentum equivalent of an interception at the goal line. You just kinda know.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Slick double play though following a plunked batter.CROM!
drock2190 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Buxton loves WALLS! Jumps right at them!
SF Twins Fan Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Why was Berrios taken out of the game? He was dominating like his first game but he was only at 86 pitches....If he's our Ace he needs to go back out there....
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 What was Buxton thinking there? He jumps up at the wall, not even looking at the ball? Terrible. He’s like wile e. coyote just plastering into walls when it’s unnecessary

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Palanco a foot from tying, settles for a double.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Polanco still wants to try and win this game. Nice game for the 1-2-3 hitters tonight.
