Yup. Bad Twins offenses used to be able to load 'em up with no outs and then go scoreless the old-fashioned way, with strikeouts, force outs at home, and fly outs too shallow to tag on.

 

This offense is a pale imitation. Pale, I say!

Buxton with 3 strikeouts. Every fan of this team has to be feeling pretty worried.

 

Ever notice how when he's waiting on a fastball and gets a curve early in an at-bat, it's pretty much curtains for him? It's like he can't come back from getting fooled on one pitch or something.

And it's crap like that which kills you when you can't get just one GD runner in with the bases loaded and nobody out.

Bux tried to do too much there and gave up the HR.

 

Still would've been a guy on 3rd with 1 out but yeah that's on Byron.

True. But the bases loaded no outs, not scoring thing is the momentum equivalent of an interception at the goal line. You just kinda know.

Why was Berrios taken out of the game? He was dominating like his first game but he was only at 86 pitches....If he's our Ace he needs to go back out there....

What was Buxton thinking there? He jumps up at the wall, not even looking at the ball? Terrible.

He’s like wile e. coyote just plastering into walls when it’s unnecessary
