bighat Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Neither did Schoop... Yeah but Schoop's job with 1 out isn't to get 'em over. And now the game is tied. Lots of missed opportunities on offense today.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I'm a little bit behind. With that being said CROM!

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Kepler didn't get to that one... Alas, it is a tie game.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 Kepler with the ol' Baltimore chop!

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 54.00 ERA for Peralta. Crikey.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Side note: Saw that Hunter Greene (the #2 pick behind Lewis in the 2017 draft) will undergo Tommy John surgery. Unfortunate for the kid and the Reds organization. I point this out because the Twins were somewhat criticized for not drafting Greene ahead of Lewis - Royce was considered in some circles to simply be an "affordable pick true to the Twins spending habits". I remember the same was said about Joe Mauer vs. Mark Prior way back in the day as well. Edit: Also saw that Michael Reed was just designated for assignment by the Giants today after SF acquired Pillar from Toronto. Not sure why I'm posting this stuff in the game thread but since nothing's happening yet I figured I might as well.No good pitchers are hitting free agency, how do you propose getting them if not thru the draft? Because players get hurt, you can't just not take pitchers.

D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I just can't bring myself to cheer against the Royals pitcher ... you do the math. And that is all I have to say. Is he your older brother or uncle?
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 The lead off man has reached base safely 4 times tonight.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 A walk to Cruz to load them bases...
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Is he your older brother or uncle?Hmmm ... Grandson, I bet. I'm not old enough to be anyone's grandparent. But I am old enough to be one tremendous Auntie!
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 So much more tasteful and family-friendly than the thankfully short-lived 'Rally Jocks!' tradition...

yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 That last pitch was the only strike Peralta threw to Rosario per gameday.

bighat Verified Member Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Twins looking like they're going to waste a bases-loaded, no-out situation here. Reminds me a lot of last year's group.
