One of the reasons I didn't like Rogers getting run out there last night - three run lead, one out in the 9th. I love Rogers, but he's been worn down carrying the bullpen the last four months. And now get him into three straight games again...our stud is only human.

Just two years ago in the 2017 season, Sam Dyson was DFA'ed by the Rangers on June 1st after starting the year 1-6 with a 10.80 ERA.

 

He's certainly turned things around in San Fran after reportedly adding a new cutter to his arsenal and has had a really stellar 1.5 seasons with the Giants. But he's not all that far removed from being a complete dumpster fire.

 

I refuse to let 1 game shape my opinion of Dyson. But to say my confidence has been shaken a bit would be accurate.
