Game Thread: Twins vs Royals, 4/5 @ 12:10 CDT

[Cap'n Piranha]

If someone starts doing math problems in Spanish, I think it would take the game thread to a whole new level.

It is kind of a bummer that Mike's birthday is 363 days away.

Dos mas Dos iguales cuatro.

[GP830]

There's no chance this is the real Twins is it?

[Danchat]

Strahm's ERA is now 162.0.

Bueno*

*did I use that correctly?

[USAFChief]

The push notification on my phone says: "Miguel Sano pega un triple en la parte baja de la 7ma, 3 corredores anotan. Los Twins amplían su ventaja sobre los Royals, 6-1."

The Trump Administration promises to have this fixed within the week.

[MNTSchmitt]

Eduardo!!!! We are going off this game!

[James]

Esco one ups Sano!

Technically, they both had a 3 RBI hit.  Wouldn't that mean they pretty much did the same thing?

[Squirrel]

Esco is one of my favorites ... always glad when he gets it done.

[kydoty]

Dare I said it? I'm having fun this season!

[Circus Boy]

Timely hitting, shutdown pitching, sterling defense. Yep, it's the Twins. I like it.

But seriously, I want to see Buck get on base. A lot. Good thing the rest of the team is finding ways to scoot around the bases.

Is it time to give Molitor a new contract?

Mike's birthday is ((3^n)*(n-1))+(25*n) days away.

Where n=4.

Haley MLB debut for the 9th here?   Or get Breslow or Tonkin in for an inning?

The name game during Spring Training was particularly hilarious

Is it time to give Molitor a new contract?

Already too late, most likely.  The big money teams are surely lining up to sign him this winter.

[Halsey Hall]

Molitor is certainly pushing the right buttons so far this year.

[Blake]

Castro must be really hungry for chips and walkamole.

Wow, that was right out of Chief's repertoire.

Hope springs eternal.

Duffey pitched today so I'd assume they would save Haley for long relief tomorrow, if needed.

This actually did give me some school flashbacks.  If I have a finals dream tonight, I will know why.

Why thank you!

Is it? check your work....

Watch out league...Molly's got him a 8 man bullpen and he's not afraid to use it!

Ha! Wrote down 343.

Alas...

I'd like this, but can't.....but I bet you can find a formula that works.....you have between now and Buxton's next "hit" to find one.

[GP830]

It's really amazing how much my outlook has changed in the last few days. I'm typically a Twins optimist but this has me feeling good. Of course a lot can go wrong, but this just feels great.

If you would have shown your work you would have at least gotten partial credit.

I could hold a weekend conference if things don't pick up for Buck.

[hybridbear]

An interesting stat that was mentioned earlier in the radio broadcast is that with a win today the Twins will accomplish something that they never did last year - win a series against KC. That's awesome to get that done in the first two games of the season.

So until tomorrow at least, then.
