Game Thread: Twins vs Royals, 4/5 @ 12:10 CDT

[D. Hocking]

we have what 6 walks and 10 runs to start so far between the first 2 games?

As expected.

10 walks and 10 runs, actually.

Whoa!  An ad just popped up for me to date a rich woman--wonder what caused that?

[ashbury]

ROSARIO!!!!

To second on defensive inattention. He's a ballplayer.

If you figure it out please let me know.

Penury.

[Cap'n Piranha]

If you figure it out please let me know.

I'm working on it.

[BoofBonser]

Strikeout on 3 pitches for Buxton

[Jerr]

Buxton, come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Cap'n Piranha]

An now I have an ad for Jolyn clothing, which seems to be the exact opposite of my rich woman ad, based on the background behind the model.

[TonyInOmaha]

Good to see a Twins pitcher come out with a quick, no nonsense inning after getting a lead.  Santiago looking good since the walk to Perez to start the 2nd.

[rghrbek]

Buck 5 for 7 this year so far.

[Mike Sixel]

Playing with it, now set to translate from Spanish to English. Looking forward to humor....

[Oldgoat_MN]

Kennedy pitching smart.

Last Buxton at bat he was surprised by a 2 strike FB.

This time he was well ahead of a change-up.

He should start to get hits before he has 2 strikes. (I should be a hitting coach!)

[USAFChief]

Great intro Blake! OOhh Math! Imaginary numbers, negative numbers, placeholders. I love it!

I was told there'd be no math.

[spinowner]

That's a dinger on a warm day

[Jerr]

I was told there'd be no math.

Shhhhhh, or he might send homework home.

[rghrbek]

That's a dinger on a warm day

damn concrete

[Oldgoat_MN]

Is Sano going to become a TTT like Adam Dunn? Is he one already?

[woolywoolhouse]

Sano after that flyout to Gordon:

[bighat]

Really scary start to the year if you're a Buxton fan.  Pretty much the worst possible first 7 ABs the kid could have.

[USAFChief]

Shhhhhh, or he might send homework home.

Reminds me of junior high school.  Math teacher told us "whoever answers the next question gets no homework and can leave class immediately."

So when he turned his back, I made a fart sound.

He jerked back around and yelled "WHO DID THAT??"

"Me," I said.  "See ya."

[ashbury]

I was old, there'd be no math.

FTFY

[USAFChief]

• So far, I'm really impressed with Castro's plate appearances.

[MNTSchmitt]

if the wind wasn't blowing in, that ball is gone. Good swing Sano.

[ashbury]

So when he turned his back, I made a fart sound.

Right. A sound. Uh huh.

[Craig Arko]

Here's a bit of math homework. Worth a million bucks.

The question that was begging is one I didn't want to ask.

[Craig Arko]

And Santiago looks pretty darn good.

First, a brief history of the number zero:

Late to the party, but I don't know how you got through that intro without posting this:
