Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 http://www.twincities.com/2017/02/21/minnesota-twins-reliever-ryan-orourke-and-his-nervous-stomach/ In today's notes article from Mike Berardino, the lead story is the stomach of Ryan O'Rourke. Earlier in the morning, Twins Director of Communications was posting some obscure facts about a variety of Twins players. It included the following: Berardino asked the left-hander about it... It's true, and it goes back to even his college days and the minor leagues. As a starter in the minors, O’Rourke said it became a running gag for the grounds crew to wait at the trash can with a new bag “right before I went out there.” Also in the article, there are some more notes including notes on the "crossfire" of Justin Haley, and bullpen information/updates on Glen Perkins and Mason Melotakis.

Brandon Warne Verified Member Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Also, a weird thing for the Director Of Communications to share? Probably asked each player what they wanted to share.

Sasquatch Provisional Member Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 I don't know what's worse, knowing this fact about O'Rourke or the puns that have followed...

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Coincidentally, I puke every time I watch him pitch. It took 18 hrs for this response? I'm disappointed in the TD community.
bird Verified Member Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Wonder if his agent is trying to line him up with a mouthwash endorsement.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted February 22, 2017 Posted February 22, 2017 Wonder if his agent is trying to line him up with a mouthwash endorsement. One of the rare times where a pitcher covering his mouth with his glove during a mound visit is a courteous gesture. Nobody wants to smell vomit breath.
