If this trade does take place, I am pretty excited to see the minor league depth that would also be added in June with the 1st pick, as well as the competitive A balance pick and second round pick.  If they can deal E Santana for a possible top 100 prospect, they would have added some nice pieces.

Exactly my thought process. Say we trade Dozier for De Leon, Bellinger, and then a B or C level prospect (Based on what we've heard from DaveW). Then we trade Santana, which from another thread most seem to think he will land a prospect between 50-75 and then a B or C level prospect. Add Hunter Greene with the number #1 overall pick, as well as our comp. pick and early second, we will have a very deep farm system that a couple years ago looked like the best in the majors but now isn't viewed as favorably.

Our top prospects in July would look something like this (I have moved each prospect up 5-10 spots based on the expectation that 5-10 prospects in the top 100 will have graduated - Based on MLB Pipeline)

1. SP/SS Hunter Greene - 15 Overall (I have no idea where Hunter Greene would be slotted in right away but somewhere in the Top 100 and would eventually be a top prospect in 2 - 3 years)
2. SP Jose De Leon - 25 Overall
3. 1B/OF Cody Bellinger - 28 Overall
4. SP Tyler Jay - 29 Overall
5. SS/2B Nick Gordon - 43 Overall
6. Player from Ervin Santana Trade - 55 Overall
7. SP Stephen Gonsalves - 76 Overall
8. 1B/OF Alex Kirilloff - 84 Overall
9. Round 1 Compensation Pick - 95 Overall
10. SP Kohl Stewart - NR

This would net us likely 8 to 10 top 100 prospects by July not even counting young guys like Berrios, Buxton, Sano, and Kepler who previously graduated. Also guys like Kohl Stewart, Adalberto Mejia, Fernando Romero, Ben Rortvedt, Nick Burdi, Wander Javier, Lewis Thorpe, Akil Baddoo, Jose Miranda, and next years 2nd round pick might have futures in the top 100 as well.

That would give us the deepest young talent in the MLB that would likely all surface by 2019. I'm not Saying that all of this would come to fruition. But it would sure be cool and a guy can dream.
