Why do you hate De Leon so much? The dude had a 32.5% K rate and 5.55 K/BB rate in the PCL this past year. 

De Leon has a problem staying healthy.

Here's my guess on the hold up:

40 man roster.

 

If you trade one guy for 4 and 3 of those 4 are on LAD's 40, you need to cut 3. I see some that could be cut so not a huge issue but if there is another percolating trade that brings back fewer 40 man guys, maybe deal two happens before deal one...

I missed about 25 pages of this thread due to an outstanding camping trip this weekend but if this trade was held up (and falls through) because they couldn't bring themselves to cut a couple of mediocre barely on the 40 man roster players then this FO sucks.

If this trade was held up (and falls through) because they couldn't agree on the 3rd and 4th players when 2 of DeLeon, Bellinger or Alvarez were in the deal then this FO sucks.

At least this thread made things fun for the site for awhile.

Hopefully this doesn't end up like the Johan Santana trade when there were some really good possible trades from the Red Sox and yankees rumored during winter meetings but everything fizzled and they took the Mets deal because they were likely the only serious trade partner left.

I doubt they pull the trigger unless the return is a good one. No pressure here like there was with Johan.

Getting two of DeLeon, Bellinger or Alvarez is a great return. If this falls through because of a 3rd or 4th piece then this FO sucks.
