spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 That was actually an awesome bunt.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I don't always advocate a sac bunt, but when I do, Shane Robinson's at bat.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 That may be the worst effective bunt in MLB history.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Sure could use Arcia right nowHaven't you heard? Strikeouts.......bad defense......blah blah blah....etc etc
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 A bunt I actually like seeing......rare.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 **** that foul territory at the Skydome is like Oakland!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Who? Google turns up nothing. Oh! You must mean Caitlin.Nope, googling Bruce Caitlin turns up nothing either.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I hate to be the party crasher, but let me assure you ... if Arcia was up here right now, he'd just be another guy to complain about. And you'd think of someone else who looked like the greenest grass in the kingdom of baseball, just rotting and burning out down there in AAA. By the way ... pffft.
mickeymental Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 well, they gave it the good-ole college try ...
big dog Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 showed a little spirit with the bats tonight, anyway.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 7 runs should do it, team just seems lost at sea right now, no identity.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 If Dozier's bat hits the ball 6 millimeters lower, it's a 10-9 score.........

By the way ... pffft.Right, but I'm tired of complaining about the same ol' same ol. I need some new guys to complain about.

But, still in all honestly Arcia is needed and would be more useful. But, you are damn right that he would give us much to complain about. We don't really have any imperfect players in our system. Lots of young talent, but almost ALL of them are extremely flawed in one or two areas with the bat, and or, in the field.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Just wanted to say, again, how much we appreciate all the game thread volunteers. And in tonight's case, BK...you done good!
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It was a long time ago, and utterly forgetable, but I think Duffey counts too.Forgettable? I think he's going to figure in the game summary. "Rough welcome to the big leagues" might get worked in somehow.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Forgettable? I think he's going to figure in the game summary. "Rough welcome to the big leagues" might get worked in somehow.Possibly. "Bus ticket back to Rochester" might find it's way in there too.

Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 If Dozier's bat hits the ball 6 millimeters lower, it's a 10-9 score.........Sounds like a missed opportunity for Perkins to blow his next save.
spinowner Provisional Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Sounds like a missed opportunity for Perkins to blow his next save.Man, tough crowd.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I dunno... Try Caitlin Bruce I just went looking for Bruce on the internet, 'cause i knew i'd find a monty python sketch. Oh, and sorry about not diggin' up Bark's Congo line. I did it a couple o' times in the past couple weeks, to little effect, so i sent it to triple A to work on consistency. It probably is time to call it up again...
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 All things bein' equal, i'm just glad i was a wake for the entire game. With luck, i'll go to bed tonight and actually be day shifted... I'm sure Duffey will be on top of it next time. We was in it right to the bitter end. Tomorrow, let us avoid the sweep!
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 This team ****ing blow, Ryan doesn't have a god damn clue. Tossing Duffey a kid out for his first major league start, on the road, against the best offensive team in baseball. Well played Terry, well played. I wonder how many games this team has to lose in a row before he actually decides to make a roster change, I meant having 13 pitchers an no bench is cool and all, but at some point maybe you should try something?
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 If Dozier's bat hits the ball 6 millimeters lower, it's a 10-9 score.........and if the Twins had a competent SS, GM or Catcher the game prob is 10-5, or if the Twins started May like they should have etc etc etc
Kwak Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 For the record, I hate that sacrifice bunt. They need to play for many not two. Toronto still gets to bat!
Marek Houston Wichita Wind Surge - AA SS Houston went 3-for-4. He's hitting .333/.415/.505 (.920) since joining the Kernels. He added his fifth and sixth doubles. Explore Marek Houston News >
