nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Eduard Julien made the Rockies. Jose Miranda on a MiLB contract was re-assigned to the Padres AAA affiliate. However both had an OPS over .900 this spring and I'm cheering for them. If for no other reason than if they find success elsewhere, just maybe we can reverse engineer what exactly it is the Twins are doing wrong with their hitting prospects. glunn, Vanimal46, Doctor Wu and 2 others 5

Didn't he lead the league in triples one year? Yup, 3 times 2000 (20), 2001 (14) and 2003 (14) edit to add number of triples and to say…. I’d kill for an early aughts young Cristian Guzman type playing SS for this team… :( Doctor Wu 1

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I was curious to see where the Dobber went. Randy Dobnak is on Seattle's AAA roster to start the year. This was supposed to be Dobnak's first "team-friendly" option year of $6 million when Falvey recklessly signed him to the extension after 3 weeks of spring training results. glunn, I Miss The Lakes and flpmagikat 3

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted April 8 Posted April 8 The Reds have DFA'd Christian Encarnacion-Strand. The Twins are now free to (half) remedy one this site's most mourned trades. As a right handed first baseman, he could really give Kody Clemens a run for his money in the On Base Percentage department. Seriously, not serious.
