Dang, he had been one of the most durable starters in the league. He's had 8 straight seasons of 30+ starts (with the exception of 2020 where he didn't miss a start).

I thought about that, but is someone who is hitting well with 90 at-bats really as valuable as someone hitting slightly less well but getting 150 at-bats? I decided to go with amount of activity, at-bats or innings pitched, as a measure of the role they play on the team. Everyone is free to disagree about the best way to do this. Lots of correct answers to this essay question.
