I’m far from a hitting guru but it seems like his entire swing needs to be retooled. Maybe he compensated for the leg injuries and it got everything out of whack

Nothing will get fixed until Lewis and CC hit. You just can't have two black holes from two supposed stars. Doesn't help Wallner and France cat hit either. Add on Vazquez half the time, and it's a wonder they ever win.

6-3 on the homestead. Honestly better than I would’ve thought. Frustrating offense continues though. Pitching has stabilized.

Agreed. I'd DFA France and call up Martin at this point. Then Keaschell for Kiersey as appropriate health wise.

The All Star break is a good time to reflect. 

My take is that the Twins have pitching, but Buxton is the only position player who is not a 7-9 in the order bat. Transactions must occur.

He's not far off from hitting well just a little late on some swings. He's actually fouling off a lot of pitches, just needs to get his timing back. The guy that is really stranding  a lot of runners on base is Wallner. Wallner is striking out a ton and not even  moving runners over.  This team needs more speed in right field and to move on from Wallner. Wallner bat's in RBI spots a lot and if you look at the first half the season he isnt driving in runs much or moving guy's over. Not good at small stuff. I'm way more frustrated with Wallner than Lewis. Wallner is pulling off the fastball instead of squaring it up. Guys got talent but he isn't putting it together.

I've been wondering that ever since they brought him back up the first time off the IL for the Baltimore series in early May.

The sad thing is, think about all the runs they have given away with sloppy defense and awful base running. Their record should be so much better.

Im sure they do since they have more cameras on every at bat than Hollywood. But he probably swung one way for years and then lost it with the injury and will have to get it back on his own
