Thank you so much to all of you who voted. Incredibly impressed by the tremendous turnout this round. We'll be taking this information and applying it to the prospect list in the coming days. Keep an eye out for it!

    Haven't seen him this year. but still number 1 for me.

    He looked good this spring. Being able to switch hit and have great position flexibility keeps him number 2 for me.
  3. Emmanuel Rodriguez
    You could argue he deserves the number one spot with the hot start he has had, but the swing and miss and lack of any kind of contact at times leaves him at three for me.
  4. Charlee Soto
    I like Soto more than most. He is holding his own and has been dominant at time at A ball. Doing that as an 18 year old is impressive.
  5. Marco Raya
    They haven't let him pitch many innings yet and I don't know if he can hold up as a starter but I like the way his stuff moves. I think he can he elite if he stays healthy.
  6. Luke Keaschall
    This might be high but I really like his well rounded batting profile and athleticism. He looks like a difference maker to me.
  7. David Festa
    Still struggling with command but he can miss bats and throw hard. Hoping he can find an extra something to get over the hump.
  8. Brandon Winokur
    He;s got power and K's too much but he really seems to be working on pitch recognition and he holding his own in A ball as a teenager. Not easily done.
  9. Simeon Woods Richardson
    The AAA numbers aren't good and the MLB numbers are excellent. I probably should have him higher but he won't be on this list long so leaving him here.
  10. Austin Martin
    He won't be on these lists much longer but he looks like he will be a solid utility player at the MLB level.
  11. Gabriel Gonzalez
    I haven't fallen in love with Gonzalez. He has been solid but not top 100 good IMO.
  12. Zebby Matthews
    Zebby could be higher. He could be top 5 for me but I am going to wait a little longer to make sure he stays dominant at the higher levels first.
  13. Andrew Morris
    He gives up too many hits but he can get K's and keep runs off the board. Maybe a sweeper or something to help him stay off barrels?
  14. Danny De Andrade
    I probably have Danny too low but he is off to a slow start. If he picks things up he will top 10 for me.
  15. CJ Culpepper
    He has a lot of pitches and good velocity. Just need to see him dominate a bit more to move him higher.
  16. Dameury Pena
    He has an exciting bat. He batted .400 most of last year in the DSL until he fell below that at the very end of the season. Off to a good start in FCL he could be A ball bound later this year.
  17. Noah Cardenas
    He has a great eye at the plate, is a good hitter and probably the best defensive catcher the in the system that can hit.
  18. Rubel Cespedes
    He was a non-prospect just last year, but he is hitting and hitting for power. Is one of the top bats in his league and the top bat on his team. We'll see if it holds but for now he is at 18 for me.
  19. Kala'i Rosario
    His number are similar to last year but a but below. AA is a tough jump. I still believe in the power bat but it might take time.
  20. Darren Bowen
    I think he has the stuff? Need to see more.

I didn't rank Canterino and Prielipp who I haven't seen in two years.  I also let Lewis slip but he probably should be top 10.  Just hard when you don't see guys. Olivar could be right there with Cardenas but went with the player that is better defensively.

Some tough decisions for a top 20.  A fair number of my picks could be swapped for other players, but this is my gut feel right now.

    He looks so much like a future Joe Ryan
  7. Danny De Andrade
    Shortstop is a premium position that only a very few can play well enough defensively to make it there in MLB. De Andrade is one of those.

    Love his effort. Needs to play better defensively.

    May that arm stay healthy
  10. Marco Raya
    At this point, I see him as a relief pitcher, though a good one

    Nice start in A ball for someone so young

    Really want to see him in AA to compare him to Schobel

    Will he ever get a chance in MLB? He can't do much more in AAA.

    Average in AA so far this year.

    Picked him over Morris, Ohl and Bowen at this minute

Can no longer rank Canterino and Prielipp as they are always injured. Gabby Gonzalez is a bat only hitter who isn't dominating A+. Just don't see him making it all the way to the Twins. Still love Helman and Prato but their season in a hitters league doesn't back that up so far.

    Love his high OBP, I, like the moneyball A’s, believe that’s the best way to build a high scoring offense.

    5 starts, a little shaky on #5 but appears close w fastball up to 95 and that tantalizing curveball.

    I love Austin Martin as an all around asset to a team. A few ugly miscommunications in the OF but overall catches the ball, has the burners to go get some that might drop for others and made a certifiable Buxton like play in CF.
  6. DaShawn Keirsey Jr
    Sweet swing, superb defense, 35-40 SB high OBP and a little pop. Would be in the major leagues right now with a lot of teams.
  7. Luke Keaschall
    He looks to be The Natural #3 for Twins and it looks like he’ll play in MLB.
  8. David Festa
    Very promising, appears to be close.
  9. Zebby Matthews
    With what he’s doing in AA already, he could be the Twins #1 pitching prospect.
  10. Charlee Soto
    Relying on the scouts and those who make the minor leagues a passion plus a brief glimpse of him in 2024 highlights. Solid #10.
  11. Rubel Cespedes
    This guy has catapulted and I’ve seen lots of footage thanks to Tom Froemming’s frequent minor league highlights, He looks tools and a force.
  12. Gabriel Gonzalez
    Dropped a bit due to limited dimensions to his game after the power. Still in eventual striking distance of the majors but I’m not sure as a lot can happen between class A and MLB.

    He’s forced himself onto this list, another one I’m convinced of my ranking due to Mr. Froemming’s excellent minor league ghlight packages.

    Looks good, will know more when he gets back on the field.
  18. Andrew Morris
    Another guy with an up arrow, he deserves the spot.
  19. Jair Camargo
    I like him, reminds me of Wilson Ramos who was, in my opinion, foolishly traded away.
  20. Yunior Severino
    Disappointing in 2024 but he still deserves my last top 20 spot.

This has been a fun little exercise with many thanks to Tom Froemming for his frequent thorough rundowns of the day in the Twins minor leagues, with actual footage of the key players!

Lot of good prospects in the Twins system. They also have guys who won't be seen as high-end prospects, but will have legit MLB potential by the time they get to AA and AAA.

Had to downgrade some guys for injury: can't have Canterino or Prielipp on here at this point; they just aren't pitching.

Toughest omission? Probably Pierson Ohl, who is doing well in AA and has gotten it done at pretty much every stop. but there are fair questions whether his stuff will hold up.

Some notes on a few interesting prospects:

Emma continues to be incredible. I love him as a prospect. After a short "slump" it seems he is back to hitting for power and drawing two walks per game. OPS over 1.000. Triple-A soon? Please?

Luke Keaschall is another prospect in need of a promotion, but somehow it doesn't appear like there's a lot of talk about him? Strange, because more and more I think he is one of the best prospects in the system. Hitting for average, hitting for power, almost as many walks as strikeouts, great base stealer and he can even play CF... Sounds like a top prospect, doesn't it?

Rayne Doncon, what a pleasant surprise... Wasn't sure what to expect of him, but love the early results. I also liked the few plays I saw him make at 3B. Strong arm.

And finally, I am right back on the Yasser Mercedes hype train. He was one my favorite prospects after his great 2022. 2023 was obviously somewhat disappointing but coming to the US is a big adjustment for some of these latin players. Now he looks like he's back on track and I can't wait for his promotion to Fort Myers, which means video broadcasts and statcast data!
