Rocco really got criticized last season, especially early on.  Haven't heard the same amount this year.  Have Twins fans accepted the inevitable decisions/style, or have we have just given up?

It seems both.

At his point in time, Joey Gallo is batting at the BA most expect, but he did Already have 3 for 4 game; I am anxiously awaiting the Twins under achievers to do the same thing.

My bigger concern is Vazquez and Farmer being in the starting lineup in the first place. Miranda need an extra day off after the off day because he's just worn out after 59 PAs this year?

Yeah , the Twins should really, really have a run at will catcher in the game instead.

Just maybe Miranda's .833 fielding numbers made Rocco decide we should really try to win the first game

They all got rest on Thursday.

Miranda is one of the few guys putting an actual barrel on the baseball this year. 

Martin? He has been at least chippy. Somewhat competitive. 

I guess when the chips are down it's the vets who have played a few hands. 

Let's see if Doyle Brunson can bluff his way to the final table.

Who's the run at will catcher? Detroit has 8 steals in 19 games. Let's not act like they're some super fast team, either.

The idea that a need for defense overweighs a need for offense when 7 of 9 hitters are hitting under .200 is hilarious to me. But I'm well aware that your stance will always be to play defense over offense even though no major league team would ever agree with you. 

When you're running out a lineup with 7 guys under .200, 4 of those 7 under .150, and 1 guy under .100 offense needs to take precedent. Unless the plan is to win a 1-0 ball game they can't be sacrificing offense for defense with this lineup.

Winning a 1-0 game is just as important as winning an 11-2 game and actually more important as it shows a team does not need basket full of runs to win.

Twins won a World Series without baskets full of runs.

What the Twins need is pitchers who do not make hitting a home run easy.

40 degrees has come and went. As of right now…1 hour and 23 minutes before game time…it’s 38. Wind Chill at 29 degrees.

Although, it may feel a tad better as the game progresses, as the wind is supposed to moderate and the temperature is not supposed to drop much from where it is.
