I have always thought they do NOT have a good conditioning program.  Seems like they do not warm-up correctly before a game.

This is a great point. How that injury happens is lack of stretching/hydration.

i understand the hustle, but if he didn't try and play at 1000% all the time i reckon some injuries could be avoided, especially running around the bases in the first game of the season

It was literally his first time hustling all year. If your body can’t handle simply running around bases as a 24 year old, there’s nothing that can be done for him

I mean, it feels like cheap second guessing, but yeah, questions need to be asked.

If I had my druthers Margot, Vazquez, Santana and Farmer would maybe each start once a week and only to give the other players a day off, not to avoid learning to hit left handed pitching. That is until the better players in St. Paul come and take their jobs.

I've come to terms with rarely getting my druthers though.

You are in luck!  It's available for purchase!

What sample size is smaller, at bats in spring training? Or the number of people who actually put any weight in those meaningless games?

Meaningless to you, but you are not in the Twins Org.

Is Kepler having issues seeing the ball?  Reminds me of Dozier, a very likeable guy who seems to struggle for at least a half season.  I know it is only game 1.

It looks like he can't see it very well. He's my prediction for most disappointing Twin in 2024. Wish they could sell high on him, but they wont.

stuff happens. There isn't always a human as the cause. sometimes stuff happens.

It does, but it happens a lot with the Twins when it comes to pulled muscles.

Freddie Freeman is the only one in my fantasy lineup that has done anything today.

I'm trying to find good video of how Lewis made the turn at second base.  It was awkward as he touched the base but maybe that was after the injury had occurred.  Still I wonder about the baserunning skills they are taught; I've always had  doubts about Buxton's technique at times.
