Gotta win tomorrow, first time this team has faced an elimination game. I'm afraid I know how they'll respond but they've surprised me before. Unfortunately this offense looks like they're in a dry patch and these offensive cold snaps can last weeks with this team.

I look at Alvarez and I see a clean uniform.  I see a guy standing comfortably in the batter's box.  I see a guy not having to evade inside pitches.

Well why do you dislike Jeffers so much?

I watched him have a really good season this year. And I watched him take pretty good at bats this postseason. Better than many of the other young guys. He only got two hits but the process has been fine.

Pretty much every comment you've made in the game threads has just been ripping on him.
