Who is your biggest goat of this game? The candidates I see are:

Kirilloff
Gray
Lewis

I might actually vote Lewis because he pinwheeled through several prime opportunities to continue a rally.

Gotta be Gray.

Can't cough up a 4 spot top 1.

in game strategy is what Rocco lack of

we need to take bases as possible as we can

not trying to wait to hit HRs every single time

these simple fundamental make you win playoff games

This team isn't built on speed.  Outside of MAT and Castro, there's very little of it.   In not sure what you expected Rocco to do today.

On the flip side, Houston scored 7 of 9 runs on HR today.

Twins batters had plenty of chances with RISP to get back intriguing this game and failed.

Yeah, it’s probably Gray. I’m ridiculously frustrated at Lewis for his performance today, though. He was taking HORRIBLE at-bats.

If AK doesn't whiff on the ball at 1st, you probably don't give up the 4 runs.  Either way, a lot of blame to go around today.  Royce had some awful AB's.

2wins87 & RpR.

Maybe you two should slide into each other's DM to argue about Jeffers somewhere else. Thanks.

What's a DM?

I would have gone varland

I think I like this in that Varland can go multiple innings tomorrow if needed.. Jax can more likely give them an inning tomorrow after going 0.2 tonight than Varland can go multiple innings after doing so.

Having used Maeda today, I’d save Varland in case something goes horribly wrong with Ryan but the Twins are still in the game. I’m not sure what kind of length they can get out of Paddack.

Probably 3 at absolute most, but if he's getting 3 innings that early, this are probably out of hand.

In the postseason, you still want a couple of length guys on hand, though. Ryan could pull up injured tomorrow and then you’re really screwed if you don’t have some long relief guys on hand.

The postseason is where you don't gave a rat's *** about length in the pen.

The post season is about this hitter. This inning. Seven 1-inning guys in a row if needed. And bring em all back tomorrow.

You can't manage for tomorrow or next week in the post season.

You need to win today. Who gives a **** about tomorrow?

If you need length you probably lost anyway.

That’s the worst part of it. This was an uncompetitive game just like the bad old days of 2004-2020.

Losing happens. Getting your face punched in is just embarrassing.

I do believe they'll come back tomorrow. Today they did get tysoned. It's what they do tomorrow.

I agree… except when today doesn’t matter because you’re down nearly double digits. At that point, tomorrow is everything.
