Joel Payamps Career Splits:

VS RHB - BA .285 - OPS .769 - 390 PA's

VS LHB - BS .189 - OPS .599 - .189 PA's

I kid you not.

Gallo understands these numbers.

How many times do the Twins take the third strike down the middle.  It's almost as if it's planned.  You can't take a pitch that good.

Unless you're a Twins batter.

Gallo was planning on walking. Didn't expect a full count slider even though Payamps throws his slide piece about 40% of the time.

Failed to score with the bases loaded.  Big shocker there.

The shocker is taking a sure fire strike.  Not even close to being a ball.  If you're looking for a pitch in a certain zone in a 2 out situation like this, well then you are just................(Fill in your words..............)

probably  the last guy you want up in that spot is someone who strikes out once every 2 AB's. And he watches a pitch right down the middle, showing you how little confidence he brings this season. Visions of Sano in similar situations.

It is the rare game this year when the Twins strike out fewer than 10 times. Their lineup just doesn't work. I wish Farmer had a chance to hit.

This team is pretty frustrating

Which means Gallo isn’t paying attention, or the plan against the Brewers bullpen is worthless. Popkins needs to be dismissed

11 K's so far tonight.

Nothing unusual there.

I don't care if they strike out 12 times.  It's the strike outs at key times that are killing us.

Starting to not be a fan of his.
