In years past, before the pitch clock, I could slip away for some dinner and only miss a few batters.  Now I may miss the middle innings.

I know. My wife doesn't like the 85" HD tv I installed in the guest bathroom.

For Jocko: are you watching the TV broadcast?

Dick and Justin made some interesting comments about Correa's bounced throw from 2nd the other day.

Watching TV and listening to radio. What inning? I'll go back and listen.

Correa's last AB, I think.

Edit: Correa's last assist, now that I think of it. Maybe thay last top half inning.

This Brewers analyst sounds like Cliff Claven

Well ya see, Norm, it's like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

In other news, I saw an item yesterday that the company that produces most of our yardsticks won't be making them any longer, until we switch to Metric.

Collectors items.  Gather as many as you can.  Future generations of family will thank you..

I knew some company would try and inch their way into the market.  Once they get their foot in the  door, look out.  Metric everywhere!

After heavy wind and rain... I got yard sticks all over my yard.

By that logic that would make this guy my hero and role model.
