Just a reminder: game threads are not a dumping ground for drive by name calling and/or over-the-top negativity.

Good to see Buxton in there again today.

Did I hear right that Larnach is sick?  Would have been nice to get him in the lineup today.

Okay, Kirilloff in right and Gallo at first ‘cause Joey is nicked up?

I noticed that too and I wondered the same.  It seems odd to say, but I hope that's the idea.

Larnach to the IL with pneumonia, Wallner up.

Yuck, hope it doesn’t spread. Good to see Wallner though.

Flexibility in playing multiple positions is great, until it starts to make the team worse. Watching Castro in the outfield get jumps that make fly balls/line drives hits in the box score, and same with balls hit to Solano playing any infield position....... and watching guys like Larnach give up on the fly balls that could be caught hit the fence, and even Taylor is having struggles with reads and taking a first step the wrong way too often, is case in point. Does Kirilloff playing right instead of first and Gallo first instead of right weaken the team at 2 positions? Just because a player will play multiple positions for the now dreaded platoon fixation doesn't mean it helps the team win. Not everything (ever) has shown up in the box score.

Why is Gallo at 1B and AK in RF? I'll admit...I have no idea what Baldelli is doing most of the time, and I think I'm done even trying to figure it out. I'm just too old for my ancient baseball brain to find the logic in these moves.

I wouldn't stress too  much about it.  We've got current field manager through 2025, possibly.  Nothing will change unless Pohlad's bottom line is compromised greatly, IMO.

Good start. I hope the offense isn't content with these 2 runs and keeps adding.

If we don't commit any errors, Gray's ERA says we win by 2.00 to <1.60.

Less wear and tear on Gallo who pulled up slightly this past weekend

According to MLB.COM, Our pitcher's real name is Sonny. Does anyone know if that's his birth name or if he changed it? If the former, is his sister named Daughterry?

Kepler hurt, Polanco hurt, Larnach sick, Miranda in AAA.

You left out Correa .  And what did  Miranda lose wait for.?  He didn’t appear to need to.
