Just got to turn the game on.  Woof, that’s an ugly lineup.

Nick Gordon leading off against Sandy freaking Alcantara?  Is he just trolling at this point?

Put that one down for the Gordon quota.

Encouraging start by Maeda. Good command outside of the HR pitch and has solid velocity/good movement. I think he's at least someone that can be a good fire man in that Dodgers role he was in. I'm not sure how confident I am yet that he holds up in a SPing role over a full season, but that's what Ober would be for.

I agree. But keeping in mind that one start is one start, Miami is not super powerful, and the Twins have him slotted in the #5 position of the rotation.

Too often Maeda will walk off the mound  wiping his brow like he’s been awake 36 hours rescuing by stranded motorists off of snowy Minnesota roads. (That is to say, he looks old and tired at the end of too many innings.)

But for a fifth starter? Probably the best the Twins have given us in a long time.

A duck floats in water. Therefore is made of wood. Ergo, Maeda is a witch!!

Did he turn you into a newt?

I’d say he’s better than the 2nd, 3rd or 4th we’ve been given in past years.

That's funny for so many reasons, including irony!🤣

pAGAN SIGHTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God, I hope he gets shelled.

Otherwise, all of this good starting pitching over the last two games will mean nothing to me. :)

"Pagan getting loose.". And Ash clenching up a little.

I'd say that I'm right there with you, but that seems kinda weird, so I won't.

Clench freely, my friend.  Or not, as you deem necessary.

Yeah he doesn't care about this game.  Doesn't think they can pull it off.  Saving best guys for tomorrow it looks like.
