Their first starts of the year. The majority of pitchers across MLB only went that far into the games. A few longer, but most not. If next month they are still only going 5-6, come talk to me and I’ll likely agree. Until then, I don’t think you’ve dispelled anything.

Really. So Twins starters need a month when Alcantara can do it in his 2nd start. Sonny Gray basically said it in a post. The Twins are a data driven team. As soon as a pitcher issues a walk or a hit in later innings they know they're getting the hook. They don't have to grind to work out of trouble. And I wasn't singling out the Twins. It's league wide. You can argue your point all day. Over or under 3 on how may Twins pitchers complete 8 innings this year let alone 9.

They have given up 2 runs or less in 4 of 5 games and some people still want to complain how they did it!

I love when one of our guy pitches 8 innings.  However, we have all heard about the mountain of data that supports the FACT that most pitchers are far less effective the 3rd time through the order so why do so many people want to follow practices that are destined to fail?

Dude, seriously … Alcantara is an ace … one of the best pitchers in MLB. You are just whining to whine here. How many pitches did he throw, and how many pitchers have thrown the same? Our starters have each thrown one game of the season. If their pitch counts aren’t higher and they aren’t going deeper into games in a month, I’ll be complaining, too. But so far I don’t see it the same as last year. And using Alcantara as the comparison is just comical
