He's gotta have a pulled muscle somewhere from jerking his head around to watch all those rockets, doesn't he?

I know I've got a sore shoulder from throwing **** at the tv.

You really shouldn't be throwing things at your age without stretching first.

He doesn’t realize the specific power he wields. He needs to write a negative article about a player to ignite the reverse jinx super powers.

I nominate sanchez

So did Rocco just decide that this is another give away game?

Another? When was the last one?

Your post is exactly 3 words too long.

classic woulda, coulda, shoulda quote from Pagan.  I mean he can't say he sucks about himself, but results sure do show he isn't a guy we can trust in any situation.  Chance to step on Sox throats and break their will but we see we don't know how to do that

Nick timed his Pagan article well. At what point do we concede that he's just a bad reliever and add some other options? It's just not working for him - the Padres gave up on him for a reason.

If I’m going to compare Pagán to someone, I think Hansel Robles would be a good comp. Good fastball, but not enough command. Robles was just DFAed by the Red Sox.

The problem is our age can’t catch them. Which leads to a lot of wild things.

Hilarious.

If you take away the 4 double bogeys and 2 triple bogeys from my round yesterday I’d be a scratch golfer.

Not that it helps us at all, but our boy Rogers has an 8.10 ERA since 5/28, giving up runs in 7/14 appearances and taking 4 losses in that span.

Heh. I was one over on the back going into 16....too bad I didn't skip 16 and 18. Sigh. Great round, other than those two triples......

While I was unsure about the trade at the time, it is has been an unmitigated disaster this year. Truly awful.

I was hoping Brayan Medina was a silver lining, but he's walking 7.4/9 in the FCL. ?

Is it too early for me to predict that once Pagan is DFA'd he'll end up in the NL West and end up crushing it?

Likely because he never has to face the dreaded AL Central teams.

Yeah, doesn't help much, but a little.

The trade might end up a wash when it’s all said and done.

If you're too old to throw things, you're definitely too old to duck (don't even think about diving and dodging).  I'm ok with you dipping.

Take notes kids.  What does Luis Arraez do before stepping into the box?  Check for where the fielders are.

He should have waited until the LF shifted a little more toward center.

Gladden just said “there is not no one way”. Yikes

At the risk of being yelled at for doing math, -1 x -1 x -1 = -1, so I guess that’s a negative?
