I picture La Russa getting his diaper changed and being spoon fed mashed peas between innings.

Is that a joke about him being super old? Or about him being a whiney baby? Reader's choice.

Why not both?

That Ford commercial does not make me think to buy a Ford.  It makes me think the neighbor must be beneficiary of a trust fund to afford to live in that neighborhood.

Jim Pohlad beefed up the IT budget this year I see.

Finally...employees can now play Oregon Trail on their lunch breaks!

In the game last night Steve Stone said that Buxton has hit 49 homers since he last hit into a double play. I believe he then said that was the longest streak in the history of baseball going back to the 19th century.

Also, let’s get Ryan out of there.

Ryan does not look the same since his return. Hence my being ok with using assets on a starting pitcher (and two bullpen arms). Have we heard anything about Maeda (I know Alcala continues to have setbacks)? I'm only interested in him as a RP....

Last I heard, Maeda was throwing at 120ft.  That was a little bit ago though.

Terrible pitch by Ryan.  He missed his spot BADLY.

He was really fortunate to get Abreu the previous inning. The popup was on another hanging slider.

He hasn't been good at all this game.

Covid has proven to have some lasting effects.  His velo has been down since he came back.

Pulling the ball is always easier to hit for distance
