Third time through, after all Maybe they give him the Archer treatment. Pull him at 4 innings with no regard for pitch count, results, effectiveness.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Must be nice for the Yankees to have 5 consistent starters that haven’t been injured.

Montdak Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 We sit here with about entire starting staff out and half the position players but never mentioned on ESPN. Just excuses for Chicago.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 HIP HIP!!! The lineup is showing some fight and I love it!
MadHits Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Wooo Polo!! Arraez was bookin' it from the start. LFG!!
twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 When looking at the 40 man roster (including IL guys), Sands is likely 11th on the depth chart (when not including prospects Balazovic, Enlow, Henriquez, and Strotman). It's hard to believe that enough of Maeda, Gray, Ryan, Paddack, Ober, Winder, Archer, Dobnak, Smeltzer, and Bundy are out that we are into the 10+ range of our starting pitching depth.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Wow how was max not rung edit: May have been low
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Great take right there Kepler. Revenge time for Gary!
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Pujols moved into 9th all-time in hits. This, after the ump tried to ring him up after strike two.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Not to be over dramatic, but winning a game like this when you start a AAA pitcher, could go a long way to breaking the NYY hex. but a long way to go
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Let's get that there runner on second home for a tie! Pretty please?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 I would expect some movement in our bullpen soon
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 That’s a bad AB from Sanchez. Unfortunate
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 That was a great pitch. Couldn’t do anything against that.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Pretty disappointing AB there from Sanchez.

MMMordabito Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Terrible PA for Sanchez ... Got himself out

I think the box makes some of these borderline calls look a lot worse (or better) than they really are.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 No problem with sands starting the inning. Just need to have someone ready

Twins may have a chance still but I fear the momentum will swing back to NYY quickly if Sands remains in the game. The outs have just been too loud, and the hits have been too big.
