I'm a 56 year old leftie with a ton of movement on my curve (orange juice for grip). So, can I throw a high (out of the zone) 4 seamer followed by a bunch of benders in the dirt off the plate? Why yes, yes I can.

I played 4 years of d3 baseball as an average knuckleball specialist. The hardest part would be getting him to two strikes, but I think I’d have a shot

You worded the question wrong. The thread should be "If you were pitching, would Sano strike himself out?" Maybe he should hit against The Turtle and resolve this once and for all.

I'm amused by the lack of a definitive "No" answer.  Clearly, that's the wrong answer anyway.

At this point, I think it's a definite possibility that Sano strikes himself out soft tossing to himself.

It really does make you wonder what his mind set is when he steps into the batters' box and what, if any, help he gets and/or what kind of practice he undertakes. It seems that he has the basic see ball hit ball approach and whatever happens happens.

Put me in for a maybe ? - I am a soft tossing lefty and I would not throw him a strike so it would depend on who is umpiring and how swingy he is.   Umps seem to like calling strikes on balls outside the strike zone to him.   Also seems Sano is having a little more trouble hitting lefties this year.   I would only pitch to him behind a batting practice screen though because if he got hold of one up the middle I'd probably be killed -  lol!
