Good outing from Shoemaker. Attacked the strike zone all day long and didn't give into anyone. Imagine that is his day. Gotta think Dobnak goes the rest of the way. Twins starters have been fantastic

Radio Broadcast says Arraez had "upper GI discomfort". Not COVID related and they claim not related to what Buxton has.

 

They must have eaten the same bad takeout.

Pulled up Gameday a few minutes ago after getting out of a meeting. I'm a little surprised that Dobnak is piggy-backing with Shoemaker instead of Happ, but maybe this was the move needed to keep the shorter-stint relievers fresh.

 

Having Dobnak and his grounder-heavy pitching in front of an infield with 3 out of 4 players playing out of position is something, too, but I guess that's what you can do in a 15-1 game.

tWINs!! Tough game to reach too many conclusions on. Urena was absolutely horrible and after that they were just trying to get through the game. Shoemaker looked really good, will be huge if he can give us 15-20 starts this year. Quality at bats all day. Dobnak didn't look very good, but it's hard to stay locked in during a 14 run lead. Oh, and Nelson Cruz is still really, really good.
