I was in Japan before the pandemic and a Hiroshima Carp fan at a whiskey bar told me that Maeda was very good and the Twins were lucky to have him. I think he was right.

If the Cruz played defense, he'd probably have a legit chance at an MVP, and Mike Trout exists...

I think if we put Cruz out there on defense it would significantly DECREASE his value.

1) waiting for Christopher Cross to be in a Saline commercial.

 

2) it is typical for Maeda to go 4 or 5 sharp innings, then have the wheels fall off a bit. 94 and grunts...also normal. He will be very good for us.
