Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 The Twins are hitting so well the fans are trembling in fear.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Mrs Chief and I have had a rough couple months. Her brother died, leaving his pregnant wife alone, ready to have their first child. She soon went into the hospital, and wouldn't you know it...twins! A boy and a girl. They had planned on having Mrs Chief's brother name their child, but since he was gone, she asked if I would step in, and name their newborn twins. I was hesitant...but she insisted. So I went home, gave it much thought, and finally decided on the names. After telling the nursing staff what to put on the birth certificate applications, I went to her room. "Well," she exclaimed. "I'm exited! What is my daughter's name?" "Denise," I said. "I love it! she exclaimed. "And how about my son??" "De Nephew."That joke was funnier the first five times you told it.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I think Cave will hit for the cycle today. Heard it here first.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I get bringing in the soft tossing lefty since the Twins seem to have historically struggled against those types of pitchers, but I think this lineup is just too good not to make those adjustments from yesterday.

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Especially as a Twins fan, you hate to see concussions.Morneaus in 2010 Concussion- i still believe might of been a good shot to win it all, That and watching the Yanks win 2 at Target Field that year, -- Still Hurts
70charger Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Man, we could really use an insurance run or two.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Brian Dozier signed a minor leauge contract with the Mets, Duh. The Mets only sign minor league players.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 That joke was funnier the first five times you told it.That's what my sister in law said!!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 That joke was funnier the first five times you told it.Just wait until Denephew is old enough to tell it himself.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I'd be OK with Avila getting his 2nd AB in the 2nd inning, against a lefty, every time he starts this year.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Quiet now. Maeda is pitching again.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 94. Nice. I didn't know he threw that hard.
Matthew Lenz Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Man, Maeda puts in a lot of umph to get that fastball to 94. Grunting after every pitch and falling off the mound. I’ve never watched him pitch...is he always like this?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Sox announcers commented on Maeda’s grunts when he pitches ... says he’d make a great tennis player

Diesel Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 kepler could have probably gotten that one, but I’m OK with being careful out there in a 9-0 game

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Now our turn to bat... Here's to unreasonable expectations!
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Could be scary when Sano and Donaldson get going.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 What a jam. I guess he made it ride like the wind.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 This game is slightly more enjoyable to watch than yesterday’s game.
